Established in 1959, the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem, Inc., is a non profit trade association of building professionals affiliated with the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
Governed by an elected Board of Directors, the Association represents
all member builders in Forsyth and Stokes counties involved in residential, commercial, remodeling, and land development activities; and associated member businesses and professionals engaged in activities related to the building industry.
By effectively representing and serving its members, the Association strives to meet the community's need
for quality, affordable construction and renovation of housing and commercial space. This is accomplished through
the following member services and activities:
- Industry Promotion
- Government Lobbying
- Education and Training
- Dissemination and Exchange of Industry Information
- Establishing and Monitoring of Professional Standards
- Community Involvement
Mission Goals
The Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem seeks to achieve the following goals:
- To be the positive voice of the building industry in the community
- Enhance the public image of the Association's members as quality, professional business persons
- To be the source of industry information and education for the members, the community, and government officials
- To be an advocate for responsible development and growth in the community
- To provide services to members which enhance their success and stability and to convey the value of
these services to members and non-members
- To foster better relations and communication within all segments of the real estate industry
